Frequently asked questions
Why isn’t WalkMentor counting my steps?
Make sure motion access is enabled and that your phone is on your person while walking. If needed, restart the app after changing permissions.
Why don’t I see reminders?
Confirm notifications are enabled in both the app and iPhone settings. Also make sure you have an active reminder set for today.
Why can’t I see recovery coaching?
Recovery coaching depends on optional HealthKit permissions such as sleep, HRV, and resting heart rate. If they are denied, WalkMentor will fall back to step and streak guidance.
How do I restore premium?
Open Settings in WalkMentor and tap Restore Purchases. If you are signed into the same Apple ID, your premium status should return automatically.
Can I use WalkMentor without HealthKit?
Yes. WalkMentor still works with step tracking and core coaching even if HealthKit is not fully enabled.
